I have a deep passion for physical and mental well-being. My research focuses on enhancing the understanding of lifestyle behaviors, with particular attention to dietary habits, among adolescents and young adults. A key objective is to investigate how these habits may act as potential risk factors for sports injuries as well as disabling neck and back problems. Shedding light on these relationships is crucial, as musculoskeletal problems are highly prevalent and carry significant consequences for both individuals and the society at large.

My ultimate goal is to pave the way for effective preventive strategies by clarifying the connection between lifestyle habits and health during youth. By fostering healthy behaviors early in life, I aim to promote greater well-being and sustained health across the lifespan.

Ongoing projects

Sustainable UNiversity Life (SUN) study – investigates risk and prognostic factors for mental health problems and musculoskeletal problems in university students.

Swedish Handball Cohort – examines injury risk factors and implementation of injury-prevention exercise programmes in youth handball.
